You could face this scenario...

Here is your answer that you may not realize it. Mostly, those nagging symptoms are often due to a lack of Vitamin B12 in your diet.

Make no mistakes! B12 is the key to...

1. Instant energy boost 2. Improve concentration and mental focus 3. Reduced stress and irritability 4. Clear thinking; eliminates "brain fog"

Vitamin B12 is really a busy nutrient. It is responsible for hundreds of vital functions your body takes care of each day. Even a tiny deficiency and you will feel it. If you neglect B12 for too long, mental confusion and memory loss could creep up on you. Long-term insufficiencies in Vitamin B12 can leading to such as mental disorders as severe mood swings, mania, paranoia, dementia, and even hallucinations. Watch out!

The good news - B12 does not have negative side effects, because it is water-soluble. If you have more B12 than your body needs, the remain is simply passed out the next time you visit the washroom.

The Bad news - Regardless how rich your modern diet is, there is forever not sufficient vitamin B12 (also known as Cyanocobalamin). Why?

1. Hazardous commercialized vegetarian theory

The only natural and quality source of vitamin B12 derives from animal products - particularly the red meat. Vitamin B12 is derived from bacteria. That is why it is rich in animal products such as meat, eggs and dairy products. You can seldom find it in vegetables.

A lot of so-called vegetarian gurus love to support their hypothesis because the vegetarian monks in China have long life. If you believe it, you have to ask them this question - "Have you been to China to study the lifestyle of the monks?"

If you prefer vegetarian food, you need to lead a life like the monks.

You should drink lots of raw cow or goat milk every day. These consist of natural vitamin B12. In additions, these monks consume tonic herbs on a regular basis, which can be found in remote forests and mountains. You should as well spend most of your life practicing meditation and Qi exercise, which offer great anti-aging benefits. (Source: Kenneth Sancier Ph. D. -- Anti-Aging Benefits of Qigong.)

If you are not willing to compromise your feverish urban center lifestyle, this is not a feasible route for you.

2. Commercialized meat production

A lot of Americans and people of developed countries do not realize this - the conveniences of modern life in reality wreck mayhem on your body and health.

For the case of vitamin B12, corporate-style meat production is the public enemy number one.

Researches have established that even steak lovers can run low on B12. Because today’s red meat at food market is missing indispensable, life-saving nutrient like B12. However, people in less developed countries have much lower chance of suffering from B12 deficiency.

Why is that so?

At the beginning stage of "production", the cattle are being fed with corn and some artificial "meat-fattening" hormones. Once these end up in "meat-factory" and grocery store, you are not getting the real stuffs.

In order to get the best out of red meat, you should try grass-fed or organic beef. If you love fish, try those wild-caught ones.

Got it?

3. Do take care of what is going into the mouth

Refine sugar, hate it or love it, is a B12 killer. An average American consumes more than 140 pounds of sugar every year. This induces high blood sugar, which breaks down vitamin B12 almost immediately.

Alcohol too... the more you drink, the faster your B12 disappears.

Your body needs digestive enzymes and something called Intrinsic Factor (IF) to take B12 from your food into blood stream. Certain prescriptions drugs can lower IF. Many processed foods also cause inflammation in your stomach that wipes out IF.

4. Overcooked food

Raw foods have a lot of digestive enzymes. But these disappear when you overcook your food. Without digestive enzymes, your vitamin B12 never gets absorbed.

5. Animal products

Again, do not put your faith on processed meat and food. The unnatural and supposed modern production method deprives B12.

The better solution is to acquire grass-fed animal products, wild-caught seafood, and organic eggs.

6. Dong Quai

Dong Quai is rich in vitamin B12. It is a natural remedy go back thousands of years. For generations, Asians use it as a tonic. Dong Quai is obtained from the root of the perennial plant known as Angelica Sinensis in China and from the root of the Angelica Acutiloba plant in Japan. It is perhaps the only herb that is proven to consist vitamin B12.

Dong Quai is available in soft gels, tablets, or capsules. It is important to choose the brands that contain a concentration of between 0.8% and 1.1%.

7. Take Your Vitamins

There is little reason not to take supplemental vitamins after you turn 50 years of age, and they might even help if you have some transient deficiency in your diet (Source: Willett & Stampfer, 2001, New England Journal of Medicine).

Most people should supplement with 50 mcg daily to make up for dietary shortfalls. If you suffer from vitamin B12 deficiency, you need to take a supplement of 500 mcg daily. By the way, you may need a higher dosage because not all of it gets absorbed.

B12 supplements come in many forms. Typically, it is reported that sublingual tablets and oral sprays work best than the usual pills because it is absorbed into the body fast.
